About Hira Iqbal

Hira Iqbal is a clinical psychologist and behavioral therapist. She has done her Bachelors and M. Phil both in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, Karachi. She uses an eclectic approach and sees clients with anxiety, depression, drug abuse, psychosis and relationship issues. She has worked on stress related issues with armed forces employees and women prisoners in Central Jail. Her core command is on CBT, art and play therapy, drug management, and behavior modification and she also does support groups and family therapy. She also sees children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She has administered assessments and provided counseling to government employees and has conducted research on national forums (i.e violence, resilience and behavior modification). She also provides standardized psychological testing (psychological assessment) for IQ and informal behavioural assessment.
